I haven’t been this happy to see a mechanical device since I came upon that bull in Austin, TX at the Dad 2.0 Summit.
This has been the first evening in weeks that I haven’t been miserably allergic to our house. I didn’t know I had any allergies until pretty recently, actually, but I never made the time to go see a doctor about it (because all men know going to the doctor is for pussies) or to buy some over-the-counter drug for it. So, instead I was just miserable whenever I was home: sneezing, blowing my nose every 5 minutes or so, and regretting buying this place while loudly griping about how expensive everything has been.
Not any more.
Breathing through your nostrils is definitely underrated. Believe me, I know from the hundreds of boxes of Puffs I’ve gone through in the last 20 years.
Yeah, I guess I shouldn’t laugh at my friends with allergies any more.
We have crummy window units here – JELUS!
I’m thinking summers in MD aren’t quite as bad as summers in GA, though!
Whew. FINALLY.
My body is about 2/5ths Claritan every spring. Enjoy the air.
I feel for you. For the first time, I can empathize.
