clearly maddie belongs in front of the camera

clip # 1: 3-year-old is in front of the camera.  Poised.  Not phased by her brother’s bellowing or her nose’s itching.  She knows the words, even we don’t.

clip # 2:  while I’m in the bathroom, the 3-year-old has taken my phone and begun filming.  She refers to her brother as a “beast” and then goes all “Blair Witch Project” on us.

  1. what a fun age! So much better than the teen years, when the same footage can do nothing but fill you with horror. Thanks for posting.

@fran, It is fun now. And I’m sure it won’t be in a few years.

@miss britt, Her in Africa with a camera is the least of my worries about her possibly perilous future.

  4. I’m sorry. Your daughter shows amazing composure in clip #1, but your son is the real star.

    (Damn, they’re both SO CUTE!)

  7. Way different from the videos I have with kids in them.

    Perhaps I’ve said too much.

@moooooog35, I’m not sure I got the number of “o’s” correct. In any event, yes, you’ve said too much.

  8. Man, forget Oprah! The Life Series was certainly miscast. Your daughter should have been the narrator. (Oprah, if you’re reading this, I didn’t mean it. It’s just an expression. Please don’t have me kidnapped, spread with honey, and then used in a weird game of honey-bear-twister with Gail and Steadman.)
